As Earth Week draws to a close, I figured I just had to share some of my eco-friendly / earth related finds for this weeks Flavors to Follow. I love the idea of repurposing and recycling materials that may have otherwise just been thrown away into something lovely, creative and useful. Also, reusing grocery bags or snack packs instead of millions of plastic bags is really the way to go. To be honest, I’m not always diligent about doing these things but celebrating Earth Week is always a friendly reminder that we all need to do our part to help keep this world a beautiful place to live in, awww so sappy.

the absolut cheese plate is SO cool! what a great way to recycle those bottles. wow the eco-cupcake stand is soso pretty and those cupcakes are truly too pretty to eat! Yay! can’t wait to get my green! thank you sandy a la mode and have a lovely weekend!

I want that reusable sandwich bag! So cute!!!! I guess you would just wash it each time right? I wonder if they are lined.

YES!! Reusing those plastic bags is the way to go. The best is just to ask for paper at check out or to buy the cloth bags to bring to the grocery store. People don’t understand how many animals those bags kill a year… AND they don’t know that there is a giant vortex in the middle of the ocean that is where all of those bags fly after they are at the dumpster! Plastic is quite possibly the worst thing for the planet. Ok, I will get off my soapbox now! Great post!!
