Top c/o Oasap | Shorts: Zara | Sandals: Target | Bracelet: Mimi’s | Watch: Target | Necklace: Forever 21

Once in awhile, it’s fun to be bold, and that is what I’m doing here with this outfit.  For the longest time, I debated back and forth with myself if I wanted to jump on the bandwagon and buy a pair of floral shorts.  I’m not a huge shorts fan in general (I much rather wear skirts) but when I saw this pair and the super pretty floral pattern and colors, I knew I had to have them.  And you already knew about my love of polka dots and as my closet started to get full of them, I knew that this little top with a fun contrast of green would be the perfect little number to spice up my wardrobe.  Mix and mash the florals and polka dots all together and you have one bold pattern mixed outfit, with shades of green as the color that ties it all together.  Not gonna lie, this took a little encouraging from my friend Nancy, thanks girl!  :)

It’s fun to step out of your comfort zone with your style once in awhile, don’t ya think?

P.S. The winner of $50 credit to Lisa Leonard c/o The Nerd’s Wife Giveaway is Van!  Congrats!  Please send me an email and I’ll get you hooked up with Arena!

This is an amazing floral pattern, great find. I’m not a huge shorts fan either though it’s always nice to have one or two statement makers on hand.

I am not sure whether I like floral + stripes or floral + dots better. At any rate, I think it was good you took the plunge on those shorts because I’m sure you’ll style them a million classy ways. (:
