This is quite overdue, but a couple weeks ago, a local library had it’s grand opening!  You’re probably thinking, big deal, but no, this library is a big deal.  First, it’s built off an old house and it’s huge, the land around it is quite spacious.

This place is one that I want Austin to visit often.  They’ve got lots of books, computer games, puzzles, and a special story time barn built just for kids.

The place smells new, there’s a ton of seating, there’s a cafe to eat, meeting rooms, fireplace, computer labs and more!  AND I didn’t get it a picture of it, but the place you return books is a conveyer belt sorter, so cool!

If Austin can be this excited about books for the rest of his life, then I’d say we did a pretty good job raising him.  😉

Apparently, we both hold Austin the same way.  He likes it.  And he loves his snacks too.  And running away from us…
