Halloween Mini Sessions with Bokeh Story Photos!

A couple of weekends ago, I got Austin all dressed up and ready to go to his first official photoshoot! ;) I know, I know, I’m always taking photos of Austin, but for once, it was nice to have someone else do the photo taking, instead of me taking pictures on my phone.  One of my good friends, Lai, of Bokeh Story Photos, a Kansas City based child photographer, invited us over to her studio to play around and take some photos in front of some fun backdrops.  Her downtown studio is a really nice open space and has a great view of the city~!

Austin’s still in a bit of a stranger/social anxiety/clingy stage right now so it took a little bit of coaxing and me holding him to get him warmed up, but he was smiling before I knew it.

Pretty much every picture where you see his finger pointed… he was saying “Mommy, sit down!”  He’s quite the bossy one, but I don’t mind.  :)  It was a lot of fun playing around with the different backdrops and props, but the best part was that there were tons of other kids there too dressed up in the most adorable costumes!

Bokeh Story Photos is running a special on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 9am – 12pm at her downtown Kansas City studio.  It is for a 20 minute session, with 10 digital images, for only $50~!  Additional kids are $25 and if there are two kids, you will get 15 images.  Kids age 1-8 are welcome to sign up (well parents should sign them up since they probably shouldn’t be using computers).  If you are interested in signing up, you can fill out the form here or email lai@bokehstory.com to book a session.

There will be treats and snacks provided to keep the little bellies happy.  Additionally, the child with the best costume will win a canvas print as well!  And as an extra special treat, Austin and I will make an appearance as well to cheer you on and we can have a mini playdate!  :)  Are you in?

  1. These are seriously adorable!! And Austin – so stinkin handsome! They grow up so fast, don’t they? I mean, I know he’s still little, but I can’t believe he’s that big!! :)
