So I’m still on the hunt for the perfect fur vest (I’ve pretty much almost given up now since Spring is almost here!), but while on that hunt, I did discover this black quilted one from Riffraff that makes a great layering piece and addition to my wardrobe.  I just love how vests add a bit of warmness and another dimension to an outfit.  Again, these pictures were taken a few weeks ago, before we the crazy snow storms hit, as lately I don’t even want to step foot outside for taking pictures!  :/

I am excited for the weather to warm up a bit this week and hoping all the snow melts away soon!  We’re keeping Austin at home with his grandparents this week we’re he is enduring “Learn Chinese” bootcamp and he’s getting lots of songs and cuddles from his Grandma.  I just love seeing Austin ham it up with his grandparents so much, wish I could bottle these moments up forever!

I’ve been on the hunt for a fur vest too, to no avail. I thought maybe I would score one on clearance somewhere. Your quilted vest is a great find. Terrific casual look. Love your blog!

I bought a faux fur vest from BR last year and have used it numerous times and love it. Unfortunately, it’s been so hot here in CA that I didn’t have much use for it this winter. Good luck on your hunt – maybe you will be lucky and find the one on super clearance.

I really like this plaid top with the floral cuffs – instant pattern mixing!

Ah I know it can be such a pain when you are looking for that one specific thing. I have one but it is not the best. It will do in a pinch but not great but it was second hand and I did not pay a lot for it so I guess it is all good.

I love the drawstring at the waist and the quilted texture – this is a great vest, and I’m sure if you do find the perfect fur one (on sale) you can pick it up and have it ready to go for next year!
