The holidays are over and this officially means that I have to go 5 months without any holidays for work, our next one is Memorial Day!  I do have some vacations planned here and there so at least I have something to look forward to.  So while the parties and the dressing up are over, it’s back to my sweats I wear, for the weekends anyways.  This top is on point with what I wear on the days that I just stay at home.  I throw my hair up in a messy bun or quick loose braid (sometimes I don’t even have time on work mornings and do this too) and then throw on sweats, joggers, leggings.  I honestly rarely ever wear jeans anymore, I even think work pants are more comfortable than jeans sometimes.  :/

Anyhow, a couple weeks ago I attended a party at Flip Flop Shops in Fashion Place Mall.  I hadn’t been to that store before, but since then have actually gone back twice.  They have a variety of sandals and casual footwear for men, women and kids.  I hadn’t heard of Sanuk’s before, but let me tell you, it’s like walking on clouds.  These are by far the most comfortable, yet stylish shoes I’ve ever owned, seriously.  Like the soles must be made out of pillows or something.  I love the black and white stripe detail as that is just something very classic and I could wear these around the house or for going out (you know I’m a big advocate of being able to wear something at home and out as well).  I know it’s not quite sandal wearing weather right now, but my husband and I both tried on some OluKai sandals and immediately started dreaming about that vacation to Hawaii that we need to start planning…
