Mommy and Me Style: Transitioning Summer Pieces into Fall

You are probably wondering, dang this mommy and me duo must have a lot of clothes, right?? Well yes, we do, our closets are overflowing, and although you might think we wear a different thing every day, that’s also not quite true haha! I know that I tend to go overboard with spending on clothes sometimes, but because of that, I really need to be better about mixing and matching pieces more and transitioning summer pieces into fall, am I right? It’s way easier to transition and still wear summer clothes well into fall and winter, but definitely not so easy to wear a sweater in the blazing hot summer.

For me, I styled this summery coral lace dress with a jean jacket and some tan strappy shoes. I love throwing on a jean jacket over a dress, it’s just simple and they got with almost everything. For my little girl, I’d say her flowery skirt with a hint of tulle is pretty summery, but I just added an embellished sweater to keep her warm for this chilly days. And for the warm days, she could easily just wear that skirt with a tee.
