I feel like I have shared a lot of insight about blogging here lately, and hope all the bloggers out there are loving it. I am all for sharing tips and tricks to others, I definitely think there is room for all of everyone to share their unique voice, fashion, talent, thoughts, or craft! I just wanted to share about some new products that my friend has created to help bloggers up their blogging game. Dreamy Presets consists of Lightroom presets to make photo editing way faster, styled stock photos that people can use for all sorts of things like Pinterest photos for example, beautiful 1 or 2 page media kits templates that make it easy for bloggers to just fill in their information, as well as an ultimate Blogger-Brand Collaboration Tool Kit! I’ve personally tried out all of the products (except for the media kit) and have found them super helpful.
1. Edit Photos with Lightroom Presets
A couple years ago, my husband got me Lightroom for a present. I actually used to use Picasa to edit my photos for the longest time, before realizing it was a bit amateur. Photoshop seemed a little daunting, so Lightroom was a great happy medium. You can use it to adjust colors, contrast, whiteness, sharpness, and so many other things. But even cooler is being able to use Lightroom presets, which Dreamy Presets has 4 collections of. They are basically a one stop shop for photo editing where you can kind of decide on the style or look you want to a photoshoot and apply that same one across the board to all your pictures. For the photo above, I used some presets in the Santorini collection which can really give my photos that bright, airy, more contrast look. To see a step by step tutorial of an editing process with Lightroom, visit my friend Cute and Little’s blog post.
2. Use Styled Stock Images
What are styled stock images and why are they necessary, you say? Well they are gorgeous photos of certain products or lifestyle that others have taken, that you can purchase and own the rights to use however you like. Because honestly sometimes for a blog post, you may not want to or have time to take your own photos, so buying stock images can be a life and time saver. I love using the for images that can be repinned (but will insert my blog’s topic in it), because prettier pictures tend to get better repins since you know they are generally aesthetically pleasing. Dreamy Preset Styled Stock comes in a few different style and color options.
3. Create a Media Kit
Having a media kit is SO important for influencers and bloggers. It’s basically like your resume if you were to take on a job, it’s a little bit about you, what you can offer, what your rates are, who you have worked with, it’s a 1-2 page sheet that can really influence brands to want to work with you. I get a lot of questions from newer bloggers asking where to get one, who can make them one, and with these templates, you just have to fill in your data and you’ll have a beautiful kit that you can send off to brands!
4. Learn How To Collaborate With Brands
And lastly – one that I am super excited to share about is the Blogger-Brand Collaboration Tool Kit that can REALLY change your game (there is a Starter and Ultimate one). There’s 6 email pitch templates for brands that I know so many bloggers could use, because when you reach out to a brand or when a brand reaches out to you (and it can happen multiple times a day), you can save so much time by having a professional canned type of email that you use and tweak for different brands. I’ve used some of these already and it really ups my game in professionalism.
