Why women need their girlfriends

How to style a turtleneck to be dressy

We’ve all done it before. Once we start up a relationship with a new love, we spend a whole lot of time with them and ditch our girlfriends. And of course many of us go through breakups and heart break before finding “the one”, and that’s where girlfriends are especially important, in those rough times in your life. After all, girlfriends are the family that we choose for ourselves, the ones that bring you up when you are down, the ones that you can spend hours trying on clothes with at the mall.

Growing up, I always had a good group of girlfriends. I have a close group of high school girlfriends, a couple close groups of college girlfriends, a few groups of work girlfriends, a few groups of blogger girlfriends, and a few groups of mama girlfriends. All of these groups of friends are great for different reasons! Below are 10 reasons why women need girlfriends.

We are back with another Mama Daughter Style Series, because getting dressed all cute with my little babe is one of my activities, and hopefully hers too! For this series, the Mamas are showing you 4 ways to style a striped shirt because I think we could ALL agree that a striped shirt is quite…

Super excited to be sharing this post today as the beginning of a fun new series I have planned with my girl Lipgloss and Crayons. If you didn’t know, we are both pretty much LulaRoe addicts (well I should probably speak for myself, but I definitely am one)! I first met Sadi of Lula Girls…

This post is sponsored by Target, but all opinions expressed are my own. We live in a society where there are pressures to be “perfect”. To have the perfect family, perfect life, perfect body, everything. A lot of times when you look at Instagram (or even my feed for example), you may think that others…

Because when you are twinners with your mini me in a mommy and me style outfit, it’s kind of awesome. Ever since I got my first pair of Valentino rockstuds, I have seriously fallen in love with the shoe and the brand. These gorgeous shoes are a kitten heel and don’t EVER hurt when walking…

So I get a lot of questions from people on where I buy clothes for my kids. Instead of being overwhelmed by that question, I decided to do a monthly roundup of cute handmade/designer/online shops that I love (and of which are having new collections/releases within the month). Don’t get me wrong, there’s ALWAYS Old…

Over the holiday break, I had the urge to do something creative. I wanted to do something beyond my comfort zone, that uses my love of “event planning”. So I put together a Valentine’s Day Style for Girls shoot, that was of just girls age 1-6 and I am so happy to be able to share…

Kileen | Me I hope you all enjoyed my “5 Things I Learned at ALT Summit” post last week! As promised, I said I was going to share more of my outfits from the conference and this one was what I wore for the Thursday night dinner! The theme was “Starry Night Black”, but I…

Disclosure: I received an Everyday Happy Diaper Kit for review. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. So back on January 7, I wrote about my first adventures with toddler sleep training for Little Miss Vivian. Well I am SO HAPPY to say that it really only took one week of training before she…

As you may or may not know, last week I attended ALT Summit Winter 2016 blog conference. It was my second ALT conference (I went for the first time last Winter) and it was so much fun yet again. The layout of the conference was pretty much the same, but I was actually able to…

Thank you to Robeez for partnering together for this post! I am back with 3 of my blogger mama friends to show you a mama daughter outfit with pops of red for Valentine’s Day and how the mamas all style a red midi skirt from Morning Lavender. Oh I just love that shop and have…
