holiday fashion guide
Ever since my baby girl was born, my interest in kid’s fashion has been resurrected.  I had played with boy’s fashion on my son for awhile and then when we got real busy with being pregnant again and moving, I didn’t have as much time to focus on his fashion.  But now, being on maternity leave and obsessing over baby girl’s fashion, I am also starting to get back into toddler boy fashion… and especially need to do it to go with his Macklemore haircut!  ;)  So today, I am bringing you a Holiday Fashion Gift Guide for Littles.  If you have a newborn or toddler or kid in your household or that you need to buy a gift for… then take note!

Trolley Square

A few nights ago, I had the pleasure of dining and shopping at Trolley Square!  Since I am new to this city, it was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised!  Located in downtown Salt Lake City, this complex will make you feel like you are back in the “Old West”.  I love that it is an indoors shopping mall (I feel like that’s pretty rare these days), but for Utah, that’s essential especially for Winter shopping.  Some of the stores that caught my eye were:

Pottery Barn – Hello beautiful home decor!  I wish my whole house looked like their store.
Pottery Barn Kids – I got a bath towel for Vivian here but totally want to buy everything to decorate her nursery from here!
Spark – they’ve got women and men’s fashion and I finally got my teal hat that I’ve been wanting for forever from here (shown above).
American Apparel – lots of great basics for the whole family
Lulu Lemon – stylish and comfy workout gear!
Willams-Sonoma – all your holiday entertaining needs or kitchen/home goods gifts can be found here!

Tons of the stores will be having Black Friday sales too, so if you need another shopping destination on your Friday journey, don’t forget about Trolley Square.  It’s indoors so you can stay warm!  ;)

These pictures were taken quite awhile ago, (I’m a little backed up on posting, but to me, that’s a good problem to have) but I just love this outfit!  Stripes and plaid are my favorite patterns to mix of the moment.  Like seriously, I always have a plaid obsession once November rolls around, I’m pretty sure you’d agree you are the same, yea?  But can we talk about these clogs please?  Lotta from Stockholm so graciously offered to send me a pair as I have not to this day owned a pair of my own clogs before.  Sure, I’ve tried some on when I went to Sweden back in high school, but they were the ones that were more for a souvenir and not to wear out.  And some may say, wooden shoes, why?  But let me tell you, these babies are actually comfortable, easy to walk in, and I just love how they can be worn with pants, leggings, or even tights!!  I really can’t wait to wear my clogs with tights and a dress or skirt next!!  And P.S. Bohme Boutique is one of my new fave in store and online places to shop, especially since there are 2 physical stores within 15 minutes of my house.

As you saw before in this post, I am in love with the Undercover Mama nursing shirt as I always like to wear a tank or shirt underneath my cardigans, sweaters, etc. and these ones have the perfect little clips to attach on to nursing bras.  Not only do they have plain styles, different colors, slimming styles, ones with lace, but they also have a fun polka dot style which I am sporting here!  All you pregnant or nursing mamas, you need to get your hands on one.. or many of these and lucky for you, we are giving one away!!

IMG_2358This is one of my favorite classic Fall looks… tunic, vest, tights, boots.  It’s the perfect formula for a cozy and stylish Fall outfit to keep your toes and body warm!  Through Instagram and the millions of Loop Giveaway contests going on right now, I was able to find out about Patterns & Pops!  They just opened their online boutique and they have some super cute stuff!  I won (yay!) a gift card to their shop and got his chain tunic!  I think the pattern is fun and the colors scream Fall, don’t ya think?  You should check out their shop if you’ve been looking for some new places to shop online!  :)  By the way, I am jumping with joy that my calves can finally fit into all my boots again!  I still have a few sizes to go down and weight to drop.. but I am slowly getting there (a little too slowly but I can’t help myself with those Starbuck’s iced raspberry salted caramel mocha decaf soy with whipped cream drinks… ;)
