When I first started working, my company mandated that we always had to wear business casual to work.  However, over the past few years we started Casual Fridays and now we can wear jeans every day to work (as long as we are planning to be at our cubicles and not in front of a client).  So with the resurgence of being able to wear jeans again and finally getting down to pre-pregnancy weight (I’m a size down now!) it was about time that I got some new jeans.  A few weeks ago I was contacted by Lee Jeans to attend their Lee Blogger Summit, along with a handful of other bloggers from around the U.S.  Little did I know that Lee Jeans headquarters was only 30 minutes away from my house, so of course I decided to attend.

The day started off with Breakfast with Lee Executives.  We learned that Lee Jeans is most excited about it’s brand, products and people.  They build products with consumers in mind with fit studies, walk-alongs, back pocket research and more.  They innovate to keep the brand relevant and go outside of the industry to find innovation as well.

Here’s the group of bloggers with the Lee executives.  Next we headed down to their Heritage Hall museum to get a tour of the history of Lee Jeans!

Loving all of these vintage ads and buttons.  Next we met with some associates from the Lee product team to learn about how Lee determines trends, products, fit, and designs.  Now this is a job that I would like to have.  😉

Tummy control mesh, yes ma’am!  Then we all got to get a little creative and create our own inspiration boards.  Here’s a look at mine.  Can I have all of these items in my closet please?

Over lunch, the American Breast Cancer Society and Hope Lodge came to talk about the impact that Lee employees have made on these organizations and to get everyone excited for Denim Day… which is TODAY (October 1, 2012).  Some of us even go to partake in a fun art project.

After we stuffed ourselves full of BBQ and other amazing food, it was time for us bloggers to Find our Fit!  Rachelle was amazing in picking out jeans for us and helping us style them.

Jeans, jeans, and more jeans!  🙂  And we ended the wonderful day with a mini photo shoot with our new Lee Jeans!

I’m wearing denim on denim, bows on bows, polka dots on polka dots.  🙂  And here are my outfit details in case you were wondering!

Rock on, bloggers!  🙂

Thank you again to Lee Jeans (and Katy for setting this up and reaching out to me!) for a fun-filled day of fashion, denim, food, and fun.  And for taking these pictures for us as well!  I have to say that I am seriously in LOVE with the couple of pairs of Lee Jeans that I got and you will definitely be seeing them on the blog soon (I wore my bootcut ones yesterday)!  They have plenty of low and mid rise jeans, a great amount of stretch and so many styles that everyone is bound to find the perfect fit for your body type.  You can also find Lee Jeans at Kohls, JC Penney, Sears, Belk, (Macy’s soon) and online.

What is your favorite jean style (skinny, bootcut, straight, boyfriend, etc.)?
