Shirt (S) // Classic tee

Top (S) // Nice little henley, definitely size up!! Only $12
Skirt (M) // This comes in 2 gorgeous colors and these ribbed skirts are super popular right now! I would probably size down if you are in between sizes.

Graphic Tee (S) // I am loving black graphic tees right now, I would need to size up to Medium in this though.
Blazer (4) // This blazer looks so high end and it has great colors! Would be great for work, need a 6!
Skirt (S) // This black pleated skirt is so gorgeous and I love it to dress up some Fall outfits

Green Tee (L) // This is one of my favorite Target tees in an unexpected color that I love! I sized way up to Large for the knot tie, but normally wear Medium.
Denim Jacket (M)

Dress (M) // LOVE LOVE this dress! The floral is gorgeous and it’s lightweight so perfect Summer to Fall transition
Cardigan (M) // One of my favorite long duster cardigans, that I got it in both colors! Wearing Medium here, but would get Small!
Purse // not online yet

Dress (M) // Super easy black dress, a little short!
Cardigan (S) // Grabbed this cardigan! Love the length!!

Tunic Sweatshirt (S) // This is a great sweatshirt because it’s tunic length which means it’s great with leggings!! This color is not available, but linked other ones!
Leggings (M) // These are like Spanx faux leather legging dupes, I am not a huge fan of these. I prefer these dupes if you are looking for one!

Blazer (S) // I though this green on green look was super chic, could work for the office place too!!
Pants (8) // A classic black denim! Prefer size 8 Short and they do come in Short and Long lengths!

Top (M) // A classic chambray top, great for layering!

Dress (XS, S) // I loved this dress for a work dress in pink! But size down in this!! I like the fit of XS on me!

Dress (M) // This dress runs TTS, but I sized up so I could belt it. LOVE this dress, it also comes in solid colors here!!
Belt // A very classic black belt! Great for belting dresses!

Left Sweater (S) // Ahhhh this leopard sweater is GOOD!!! Prefer size Medium

Fanny Pack/Belt Bag // Kind of like Madewell belt bags, love the pink one!

Tank (S) // Such a great layering piece!!
Jumpsuit (M) // I loved the colors of this jumpsuit, but it’s way too big!! I would need Small and it’s better for taller ladies!
Purse // Love love love the fun silhouette to this purse, comes in black too!

Jumpsuit (M) // This may not be for everyone, but I love the fit and buttons!!
Purse // This comes in 2 colorways and is a fun statement purse!

Jumpsuit (M) // This is actually super flattering, but I know the all over leopard may be too much! It is better for my taller ladies and I like the print broken up with a belt!
Belt // A very classic black belt if you are looking for one!

Dress (M) // Super flattering bodycon fit! Love the Fall colors!

Love your style! I have what may be a silly question, but living in upstate NY, shorts season really doesn’t last all that long. Are opaque tights considered trendy or acceptable underneath shorts and rompers? Would love to know your take on this!

Hello, What wonderful memories and pictures for your family! Growing up my grandparents had a place on Crystal Lake and then Lake Michigan, both in northern Michigan. I loved running the dunes along Lake Michigan! We have a cabin in Twin Lakes, Colorado and the cold, clear water reminds me of northern Michigan, although it is actually colder (48 degrees on Memorial Day) so we do more wading than swimming. We like to drive the boat to deserted beaches and enjoy picnics and playing in the sand. The cold water scares most boaters away (and the lake is surrounded by national forest, so no houses directly on the lake), so often we are the only ones out there! There are some warmer reservoirs in southern Colorado that are better for swimming and not quite.swim with dolphins kona Hawaii

I love your descriptions and photos. I think I would like to wear some of the hats. Corsets and hobble skirts, absolutely not. Some of the looser and flowing dresses, maybe.women’s poncho scarf

Now I live in jumpers and jeans, which feels so alien. It’s like I just cant be bothered with dresses right now, and so little of my vintage repro wardrobe is breastfeeding friendly. Your post has made me feel a little less lazy and a little less alone.Dallas

I liked the large-brimmed hats with huge feathers, and the soft, flowing gowns and puffy sleeves. The Edwardian Era had a lot of different styles, but I like the lampshade style dress, it would fit my physique and lifestyle better. No hobble skirts, and no corsets, PLEASE. (Remember Scarlett O Hara trying to get her waistline back to pre-baby size?) They still have some of those narrow at the hem skirts at my granddaughter’s private school, but not many young ladies seem to prefer them.swimsuit

Great advice. Layering is essential when you live in the mountains. We also try to make sure all of our clothes will go with several different pieces, that way the clothing can be worn more times without seeming the same. teedoris

Thanks for the useful information. I study at the university and every day I see possible friends. All my friends dress in fashion and spend a lot of money on clothes. I need to write my college essay on fashion trends. I do not have time to follow fashion trends, so I read blogs about fashionable clothes.Home

    Hi,

The piece she had made is so wonderful. She is so gifted to have that kind of talent. I also studied fashion designing before, but I have failed to finish it. I did not pursue it because I lack of interest, I wanted to have a title as a designer, but it is so hard to finish a piece. You have to dedicate an effort in time in making one. I hope that I can have the talent as same as yours. Keep it up!fashion

If I had to choose, I would say that my hat is my favorite thing to wear. I mean, I cannot really go anywhere without them. The cap that I wear is the one that my father gave me. Well, he passed away when I was still a kid, so I keep it as a memento from his. It sounds really cheesy and all, but it is important to me. I will never go outside without it on my head.Kawaii Fashion

I love the traditional look–you still managed to keep it modern and fresh. I am always jealous of other peoples thrift store finds . . . we don’t have many thrift stores out here, and it’s next to impossible to find anything good in the ones we do have. Those stockings are super cute.microblading eyebrows
