YAY it’s finally the beginning of the weekend, but not just any old weekend, it’s another fabulous holiday 3-day weekend, AND I get to wear jeans to work on Friday!  What are my plans for the weekend?? A whole bunch of relaxation, a little bit of cleaning (actually my house requires a lot), insanity workouts, a BBQ with friends, watching Toy Story 3 and sewing sewing sewing!  Well I’ve done it again, I’ve scoured the web for some of my favorite things that remind me red, white, blue, stars, stripes, and fireworks – enjoy!

celebrate: fireworks seen on we heart it
print: paper sack printable on skip to my lou
decorate: martha steward garland seen on honey suckle chic
design: colorful doors seen on creamy life

Today some of my childhood pictures are being featured over on Wild and Precious in her fun Be Young series.  Make sure to head on over there and check it out!

What are your plans for the long weekend?  I hope it’s fantastic!

to go or not to go? the answer is it’s a GO! the kids and i are going to CA for our annual 4th of july celebration normally at my parents house but this year it will be at my aunt’s house because they all thought we weren’t coming and they still don’t know. it’s a surprise! mum’s the word. my parents will be in shock when we show up at their front door!
