I first met Gracie, from Gracie Bella Butterfly, through blogging.  And she is one of the sweetest Australian girls you’ll ever meet!  She blogs about things going on in her life, Australia, inspirations and all things pretty!  She first opened up her etsy shop back in 2008 and sold cards, closed it down and recently reopened it again and it is stocked with beautiful cards, earrings and headbands!  Go take a look, I can guarantee you will love it. 🙂  I’ve always wanted to visit Australia and I’m excited to know that I’ll always have a friend waiting for me over there!!

And if you haven’t heard, Queensland, Australia has recently been devastated by a horrible flood, and as part of the relief efforts, Gracie is donating 100% of her shop proceeds through January 26, 2011 (Australia Day). That is so super sweet of her!

{MEET GRACIE}

1. Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a 25 year old who works in retail but would love to do something more creative with her life. I’m married, a Christian, a book addict, stationery obsessed, journal lover and I adore butterflies. I like to be creative and have this huge lists of things I want to try.

2. What inspired you to make such pretty accessories?
I actually was inspired to make my little red heart headband when I saw the one in the Ban.do website (and all their accessories are so pretty and fun). I wanted to buy it but shipping was way to expensive to send here. So I decided to make something similar. Afterwards I really enjoyed making headbands and it has grown from there. As for the stud earrings, they came about with my love of cute and pretty earrings. Plus I usually only wear studs.

3. What are some of your favourite activities to do in your free time?
Some of my favourite activities are reading, writing in my journal, creating crafty items, reading blogs and looking at pretty pictures and images. I do enjoy spending time with my hubby 🙂 and going to the beach. One of my other fave things to do is go to a place called Southbank and I’m heart broken at the moment because it has been affected by the floods and closed for the moment.

4. What is your favourite ice cream flavour?
Choc chip mint ice cream!!
