1) What is your favorite thing about the holidays?
My favorite thing about the holidays is relaxing with family. My mom hosts Thanksgiving, and my mother-in-law hosts Christmas, so I don’t have to do very much work at all! Every year we travel about 12 hours to visit my husband’s family, and the week-long trip is incredibly relaxing and refreshing. And it’s always a bonus when we get to see snow, since I’m a Texas gal and rarely see that white flaky stuff.
2) What are some items on your Christmas wishlist?
1. I love this ornament from Lisa Leonard!
2. This print from Pen & Paint, with my heart in Texas, of course.
3. Handmade Christmas Stocking from The Pleated Poppy
4. I’d totally pair Old Navy Peter Pan coat with a grey scarf. Yellow and grey is my favorite color combo right now!
5. Ruffle scarf in teal from the Pleated Poppy
6. I’m a sucker for Tangled.
7. Polka dot Chambray from Old Navy = awesome.
8. I might be the only blogger who doesn’t yet have an ipad. #mustfixthis

I seriously need to overhaul my blog and social media sites to make them all unified. I like the clean lines of my blog now and the simple white, black and pink color combination. I’d love to stick with that but make all my channels looks the same. – Katy
I actually do all my own designing, because I’m a graphic designer by day, but I love her stuff! Very clean and chic. I love that subtle grey on grey woodgrain look… not something I would have thought of. I think if I could redo my Twitter background, I’d maybe do a tone-on-tone map of the Chicagoland area with a star near where I’m located… something that matches my current FB page top but isn’t super distracting or busy.
I would love to have a Twitter background designed! I love turquoise and purple (think Peacocks!). 🙂 And I think would go more modern and streamlined with the design.

I would love something for my new twitter account. It is just the regular background but so much more could be done with it to fit the theme.
