Panda and Pantone

Plaid Shirt: J. Crew | Sweater: ASOS {similar} | Pants: Old Navy | Shoes: Thrifted | Bag c/o Angela & Roi | Necklace: Forever 21

This past weekend was craziness.  On Saturday, we went to our work’s Winter Wonderland party where Austin got to meet Santa and miraculously did pretty well with him.  He actually let out a small scream in which the photographer caught that on camera, it wasn’t a smile, but better than a fussy or crying baby.  We also got to see a lot of our friends who have small children and free breakfast too.  I can’t wait until next year when Austin can actually partake in the crafts and games!  Then on Saturday night, I had to work… I’ll spare you the details.

On Sunday, a group of us enjoyed Dim Sum while doing our annual Secret Santa gift exchange. Marv and I got these awesome gifts!  Sunday evening, we attended our neighborhood’s holiday party with free food and fun and games as well!  We survived this past week as a family of 3 (mostly thanks to Marvin since he stayed home with Austin this week while I went to work) but my Mom (thanks Mom!) is back to help us out again for another few weeks.  We appreciate her help SO much!

What I love about this outfit:
1) Little panda guy
2) Christmas color plaid
3) Emerald green shoes (well, they’re pretty close in color) in honor of Pantone’s 2013 color of the year
4) Gorgeous wine colored bag (win one in the color of your choice here)!
5) It’s perfect for the holidays, which I am so ready for!

P.S. This week’s Copy Cat Closet Challenge is SEQUINS!!!  Come back on Wednesday and link up a fashion/outfit post where you are wearing sequins!  The linkup will also be up on Ma Nouvelle Mode and The Grant Life. What do you think of emerald green as the color of 2013?

Green is my favorite color and my closet if full of it. i think I’m all set for Pantone 2013. Where did that name come from? i guess it’s another way to make money. Why not just call the color green? Love ur outfit by the way

I don’t mind the new color of the year, since I don’t have a lot of emerald green stuff, it gives me a new reason to shop 😉
