It’s the time of year where it’s really fun to try and extend your Summer wardrobe into Fall… to maximize the pieces in your closet while you can. The weather has been an absolute gorgeous high of around 75s in the day time and I just have one more week of house arrest until I can fully enjoy the outdoors (right now, I’m just getting a few minutes outside here and there for fresh air). For this outfit, I wore a chunky knit sweater (that will carry me well into Fall and Winter) over a Summer dress I had to give it a skirt effect. Paired with some knee high boots and a scarf that could be worn for the chilly nights and it’s a transitional outfit in my book! And let me just say that I am SO happy that I finally fit into my old shoes again. I’ve heard horror stories of people’s feet growing a size or two even after pregnancy (it didn’t happen after my first but every pregnancy is different), and thank goodness, mine went back to my normal size 7.5 and I won’t be needing to get a new shoe wardrobe.
