Top: Ark & Co. | Skirt: Forever 21 {similar} | Shoes: Target {similar} | Gemstone Bracelet c/o Anjolee | Necklace: David Yurman | Belt: Gift from MIL

It’s no secret that I am in love with bracelets right now.  Suddenly this year, I became super obsessed.  I was really excited when Anjolee contacted me to do a review of their bracelets, it was so hard to pick a favorite.  Anjolee has a beautiful collection of gemstone bracelets, diamond bracelets, bangle bracelets and more.  My Anjolee bracelet came in a super gorgeous wooden box and I squealed with delight when I opened the box and saw a beautiful, high quality bracelet.  I choose the peridot color for my gemstone which is surrounded by two sparkly diamonds.  The bracelet I got was 7″ which is a standard small length and is just perfect for my wrist.  The reason I picked the peridot color is because that light green color matches my David Yurman necklace that Marvin got for me a few years ago.  For those who want to make their own Anjolee purchase, you can use code “ANJOLEE2″ for FREE SHIPPING!

And you may have noticed that I got a new haircut!  I had about 7 inches of split end, fried, dead hair and I was so ready to get rid of it.  My stylist warned me we’d be going shorter than I was used to, but I said go for it.  I also brought back bangs that can be side swept or worn centered.  I definitely like this fresh new cut for the hot summer days ahead.

I actually got my hairs did a few weeks ago but had a back log of outfit pictures pre-haircut to show you first.  Yes, I must admit it feels great to have a backlog of outfits, for me, it’s better that way than not having enough outfits.  I got this skirt when I was pregnant and have been waiting until the day that I could actually wear it.  It’s definitely body con (new term I learned for body hugging) and I might have had to suck in for these pictures.  My body is not QUITE where I want it to be yet, but I am glad to say I am finally back to pre-pregnancy weight!  That being said, my goal is to lose 10 more pounds and I think I may have to finally start hitting the gym to reach that goal.  For those of you mamas out there, how long did it take you to start working out again?

P.S. Have you entered to win free cookies or clothes yet?

What new things have you bought/received/done in preparation for Summer?

I started working out when my little girl was 6 weeks old as I had to go back to teaching dance as that is my exercise!

I adore peridot now that I have an August baby. I have a pair of earrings, and will definitely look for more jewels on Anjolee. Great bracelet.

I started working out with P90X about three months after Lilly was born. I have to admit though, it’s really gone no where cuase I was eating so much junk. I still have 25 lbs to go to my pre-pregnancy wight and ten more after that. What gym do you use?

Love the new hair with soft curls! Do you need to curl it every day? I don’t think I’d have the patience too! Cute outfit and bravo to you for losing the baby weight! I am still keeping mine because I’m sentimental. JUST KIDDING! I didn’t reinstate my gym membership til 18 mos after J was born! So silly but I just didn’t have motivation. I haven’t lost any weight, but I do feel better about myself. In prep for summer, I bought some dresses. I’m also going to do some bathing suit shopping soon too. Ugh.

Looking good mama! :) I love that skirt! And your haircut looks great on you. Its so much easier to take care of it at that length especially with a baby. Is your hair starting to fall out yet? That happened to me 2 or 3mos after giving birth but it grew back in.

I’ve been doing way too much shopping to prepare for summer. lol. latest thing i got was a Jen’s Pirate Booty goddess dress that i cannot wait to wear in Mexico!!! :)

Hope you had a great weekend!
