Fruit and Avocado Smoothie

It’s pretty stinking hot and humid outside these days.  I’m sure the weather is similar in most parts of the U.S.   When I left work last night, my ring, cell phone and sunglasses immediately fogged up, crazy!

We’ve been advised to stay inside.  So why not kick back with a delicious Fruit and Avocado Smoothie?  No recipe, no directions, no rules… just throw a mix of things into a blender til smooth, pour into a glass, sit back, and enjoy a refreshing, healthy drink!

{My conconction consisted of: frozen raspberries and blueberries, banana,  avocado, plain yogurt + honey}

What ingredients are you going to use for your smoothie?

    It has been a long time since I have had a smoothie!! I’ve never made mine with avocado… maybe I will be brave enough to try it 🙂

    It’s still hot and humid where I am as well. We had three days of cool rain which was refreshing, but I secretly luv hot muggy weather!!

    I always make mine with berries, yogurt and orange juice. I never thought of using an avocado, but I’m definitely going to try it.

    Feels like 109 degrees? That’s crazy! A fruit and avocado smoothie seems like the perfect solution. I love avocado but I’ve never thought about putting it in with fruit for a smoothie before. I’ll make this soon — my boyfriend will probably love it too.

    Avocado??? Interesting…Idk if I would like that… But it probably IS good! I like strawberries and/or raspberries, bananas, and vanilla yogurt. Sometimes I will add a splash of OJ or Chocolate 🙂 Mmmm…smoothies are the best!

    Nice blender too…I need a new one! <333

    A smoothie sounds so delicious right now! But really what sounds like it would hit the spot is fall. I’m so ready for chilly weather and turning leaves and pumpkins and NOT HEAT! Hurry fall, hurry.

    We are having the strangest summer — it hot here for like a week. We’ve been sitting under gloom and fog for weeks now. It’s been perpetually 66 degrees. It’s such a bummer. There are all these back to school ads and I feel like we’ve been cheated of our summer!

    Ohhh that sounds so good! I’ve never thought of putting avocado in before! And I love avocado.

    I used to always make smoothies with vanilla soy milk, honey, strawberries and a bit of banana. So good! (Tastes like Soy Milk Slam from Booster Juice. I’m not sure if they have Booster Juice in the States..?)
