Much Love, Illy and I wanted to send a great big THANK YOU to all that participated in the Cold Hands, Warm Hearts Swap! You all made it a huge success by spreading the word, by grabbing a button for your blog, blogging about it, tweeting, etc! We hope that you have gained a new blog friend through the process and that many of you have already received your packages (if not, they should be en route)! We asked that all participants write a blog post about your partner and the goodies you received and we can’t wait to see the posts! Much Love, Illy is having a link up party tomorrow where you can link your post to her blog so we can all see what everyone received! 🙂
Well, since Much Love, Illy and I were the ones to host the swap, we thought that it would be fun to be each others’ partners (don’t worry, the others were all picked randomly)! These last few months we’ve really gotten to know each other so well and there’s not one day that goes by where we either tweet, text or email each other! So we basically already know what type of things one another likes, which makes shopping a little bit easier! 😉 My lovely package arrived when I was out of town on a business trip so it made it even more exciting to come home to know that a box was waiting for me to be opened! Of course I arrived home late at night which meant I couldn’t take pictures (I like natural light) so I actually had to wait until the next day to open it haha… and when I did… I was literally squealing like a little girl!!
Contained inside were an adorable card (with picture), a cute heart, and packages wrapped with cute tape, twine and poppies, oh joy! Isn’t she just so cute? But of course, the best part was yet to be unraveled!!
Ummmmm would you look at all of this?!?! Not only was there the mandatory (fingerless!!) gloves, but she sent me one of her gorgeous romance me with a glance poppy headbands, two pairs of tights (if you follow Much Love, Illy, you know how much she LOVES tights) and a mustard scarf, love love love! A girl can never have too many accessories, am I right? And of course, the next morning I lovingly asked my husband to take a few pictures of me wearing some of my new goods (mind you, it’s only 25-35 degrees F out these days).
