{MEET SWEET CAROLINE}

David and Caroline (a newly engaged couple)!

1) Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hello, friends! My name is Caroline and I am the face behind the blog Good Times Never Seem Sew Good and the little Etsy shop, Cotton Lane. I am a recent graduate of Texas A&M University (whoop!) and am working on getting my teacher’s certification in my home town. Right now I’m student teaching and I am LOVING IT! I love all kinds of crafting…but especially sewing. I taught myself via books and YouTube about three years ago and love to learn new things everyday! I am recently engaged and love spending as much time as possible with my David!

2) How did you come up with the name for your shop?
My mom and I actually sat and brain-stormed a while trying to come up with a creative name for my shop. I don’t really know how we ended up where we did, but I love it and think its perfect for my products.

3) Where do you draw inspiration from?
I draw inspiration from just about everywhere. I love looking at magazines (especially wedding ones ;)) and flipping through craft books. When I begin designing things I usually start with color and go from there… Its all kind of random, and I usually have some sort of “Ah-Ha” moment, am inspired, and can’t stop creating!

4) Congrats on your engagement! What’s the best part about being engaged so far?
Ahhh THANK YOU! I LOVE being engaged!! Its weird, after dating David and talking about getting married for a while, I really didn’t think being engaged would be much different. But it totally is. I can now say with confidence that he is the man I will be spending the rest of my life with and I can’t get over how exciting and real it is! I love spending time with David and of course wedding planning! Oh, and registering for gifts is a LOT of fun!

5) What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Ice cream is the key to my heart… and that key is mint-chocolate chip flavored!!!!
