Miscellany Monday

how was your weekend friends? did you attend a super bowl party? what was your favorite super bowl food? what was your favorite commercial? and for those who actually watched the game, were you happy with the outcome of the game?

here are my answers: good, yes, chili, either bridgestone “reply all” or  volkswagon “the force”, sure

{5} cocoa roast almonds

these are my new food obsession. and they are quite addicting. an excellent source of vitamin E, tastier than regular almonds, dark chocolate is everyone’s friend, it’s the perfect snack to eat at 3pm when your blood sugar starts getting low. buy a pack of 4 here, because you won’t want just one.

Hope you’re having a brilliant Monday, Sandy! I know you’re going to be fabulous at that interview.

no party, was home with the rents. never can get enough of wings. and i couldn’t come up with just one commercial, so i put up my top 5 on my blog. and yes, one of the better SB games to date, and happy the Packers won, since I’ve been trained to hate the Steelers like all Clevelanders, but more importantly, b/c Charles Woodson is on Green Bay’s team. (=

  10. February 7, 2011 / 9:24 am

I have a pair of oxford heels like that! I went out last year to go “sale” shopping and ended up buying them at full price, but I never regretted it one bit. They go with EVERYTHING and just complete an outfit to take it from good to fabulous.

There’s a store by my house here in Florence that has them in a variety of colors, including one close to that, I’m pretty sure. Fancy a shoe-shopping trip to Italy? I’ll take you to the store! I can go check to make sure the color’s there before you buy your ticket, of course πŸ™‚

  11. February 7, 2011 / 9:39 am

The almonds sound great! I am going to look to see if they sell them in Canada. I find that there are a lot of products that are advertised but only available in the States, like Peanut Butter Snickers. Luckily my mom lives in the States and will be sending me some soon.

    I love the brown oxfords.
