With the increase in baby showers, weddings, and presents that we’ve been getting for baby, having cards on hand is always a MUST!  Not to mention for the upcoming holiday season as well!  Well, look no further than Yes, Teacher!  She’s seriously got you covered with affordable, cute cards sure to put a smile on the face of the recipient!

{MEET SARAH}

1) Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you decided to open up shop?
Hi there! I’m Sarah from Yes Teacher Crafts! I currently live in Texas with my husband of nine years, our three cats, and our fur baby/dog. Before we landed in Texas, we were in Michigan and California – and I grew up in France and Germany so my heart is in a lot of places!

By day, I teach special education – specifically kindergarteners and first graders with hearing loss. By weekend (and summer vacation!), I create handmade greeting cards and mini notes. I was inspired to open up shop when a young man stopped by my elementary school to thank a former teacher of his. It brought so much joy to the teacher and it got me thinking about how powerful our words of appreciation are to each other. Everyone deserves to feel loved and appreciated, and that’s my motivation behind Yes Teacher Crafts.

2) What are your favorite color combinations for fall?
When I think of fall colors, I think of our time in Michigan. The color changes were so beautiful there! My current favorite color combo is golden yellow and rusty orange. Just thinking about it is soothing!

3) What’s your favorite thing about the handmade community?
I love it when the crafting community collaborates – whether we’re using our crafty superpowers to help a good cause, or whether we come together to share our ideas and tips, it’s such a supportive place to be!

4) What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
I love any ice cream flavor with Oreos!!
