A Perfect Holiday Outfit with ModCloth

I’ve been asked to participate in the ModCloth Uniquely You campaign where select bloggers are picked to style up an item each week and I was so honored to be picked for this challenge that I couldn’t pass it up.  But I have to admit, putting outfits together still takes a lot of time and care for me, I spend a lot of time hmmming and haaing and switching pieces out.  This week’s challenge was to style up the Coach Tour Dress in Noir with the opportunity of having the winning look displayed on the ModCloth Polyvore page.  Right now, I can’t get over the color burgundy and wearing it for Fall AND Winter and for anything Holiday related.  So I decided to make that my accent color to this outfit and stuck with mostly just black and burgundy as the main colors.  And because grey is my fave neutral color ever, you know I had to add a grey bag in there as well.  🙂  This outfit totally screams ME!

Those are adorable AND sexy tights. I’d dress up this dress with a velvet head band – alice in wonderland style. 🙂

    Love the coat!
I would have played up the vintage vibe. Patent pumps, square purse…dainty earrings. Mad Men’esque! Love what you put together.

I love this so much! I totally debated whether or not to style this dress with a coloured coat, and in the end went with coloured tights instead. But this is exactly what I would have done if I had 😉 ugh…those booties are just perfection!
