Belted swing dress

Anthropologie Larkhill Swing Dress

How to belt a dress

For this 8 to 5 work style post, I went a little bit more casual than my other looks, but I love it so much. I’m wearing belted swing dress as I feel a belt with this type of dress gives it a structured look. I actually tried wearing the dress without a belt once and I didn’t look as good as the model in the product listing… I just didn’t prefer it on me without a belt. Also, for those that work in buildings with super air conditioning, layering a cardigan or blazer over this outfit would be just perfect. And since the dress is so colorful and full of pattern already, I decided to keep the shoes and bag neutral, the outfit didn’t need any more color!

So glad you found me on Instagram, now I have a new blog to follow!!

Cute outfit!! How do you find the bucket bag? I feel as though I wouldn’t like the lack of organizational compartments in it – do you find that you are able to fit enough things in there??

That dress! I love it – it was on one of my Wednesday Wish Lists. The colors are gorgeous and I agree – keep the accessories neutral. Love your nails too – so fun!
