Like I stated in a recent post, a pop of design in my scarf is my secret fashion weapon these days. :) It makes it real easy for mixing and matching outfits, spicing up an outfit, and oh yea, keeping warm.

In my week trip to California (a few weeks back, yes I am behind a bit), I wore this cardigan 4 times, this dress 2 times and the purse every day. :) I essentially did a 7×7 remix type deal but didn’t get a chance to take pictures of all the outfits. I have to say, I’m pretty proud of myself, now I just need to go on another shopping ban one of these days… (well besides shopping for Christmas gifts)! Have you started shopping yet? I am happy to say that we’ve actually almost finished the gift giving for my side of the family (so that the credit card won’t take such a huge hit all at once)!

Outfit Details:

Dress: Madewell {similar}
Cardigan: Forever 21
Necklace: J.Crew {similar}
Scarf: J.Crew Factory
Shoes: H&M
Purse: Rebecca Minkoff

P.S. On a side note, this Friday I will be participating in the For Philippines With Love Blogger Day Of Silence.  My good friend and fellow blogger, Ever Ours, has the biggest heart imaginable and (along with ShelterBox and Utterly Engaged) has set up this site to help spread the word about the recent typhoon devastation in the Philippines and to ask for donations to help out the families involved down there.  The blogging community is so amazing and supportive that I just know we can come together and really make a difference in the relief efforts.  So if you would join us this Friday, November 15, 2013 and instead of your regularly scheduled post, post one of these banners on your blog and consider making a donation as well.

P.P.S. Winner of the Ross Dress for Less $25 gift card giveaway is Nisha M. (Glam Gal)!  Congrats girl!  Please send me an email at sandyalamode(at)gmail(dot)com with your mailing address!

    That outfit looks so comfortable, I would wear it almost every day of the week haha. The bright purse and cardigan with the scarf really set it off.

    I’m trying to be on a shopping ban – it’s not working so well haha, but it is making me more aware of how much I’m spending.

    This outfit is darling and perfect for work or everyday!

    I am so bad at remixing my clothes, I always buy items in outfits and then I don’t want to mix up the outfits.

    Adorable outfit! I love the grey and mustard together, the scarf ties things up nicely. I’ve had my eye on that Madewell dress but haven’t talked myself into it yet. It looks great on you!

    Traveling is such the perfect time to force me into remixing pieces! I I could definitely see how each item you’re wearing could easily be paired up differently for new looks! I love the blue pop in your bag!
