I have my guest contributor Jennifer of Sugar, Spice & Glitter back here again with another AMAZING COCKTAIL: the Unicorn Frappuccino Recipe. This one really hits home because you all know I love my Starbucks and my frappuccinos, AND IT’S JUST A GORGEOUS LOOKING DRINK!!! The best part, is that it is an adult only beverage and makes all my unicorn dreams come true. Did you know I am planning a unicorn party for my daughter’s 3rd birthday? So pretty much all things unicorn will be on my mind for the next 3 months…

Our city sold out in the first day, but with this easy, tasty and spiked Unicorn Frappuccino recipe – I’m definitely not feeling left out!

After a disappointing trip through the Starbucks drive-thru, I whipped up this healthier version of a Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino for my daughter, which was delicious, but I wanted something a bit more fun (and a bit less work) for me.

So, lo and behold, the Spiked Unicorn Frappuccino recipe – a cocktail ready to enjoy in just 5 minutes. I’m sharing two different ways you can make and enjoy this delicious concoction – so no matter your alcohol preference, you can enjoy this ice cream cocktail this summer.

If you want to make these dairy-free, sorbet works beautifully in place of the vanilla ice cream, just be sure to pick a fruit flavor that complements the other flavors you already have in play – raspberry or blueberry would be perfect!

These cocktails need to be served immediately after preparing, but you could pre-scoop the ice cream and measure out the ice cubes and alcohol into blender cups and keep in the fridge until ready to make, just blending and pouring. The candy-rimmed cups can also be prepared in advance as long as they aren’t being kept somewhere warm.

Tequila-Based Unicorn Frappuccino Recipe:

4 oz Tequila Rose
4 oz Hpnotiq or Blue Curacao
4 scoops ice cream
12 ice cubes
1/4 cup pink candy melts
Rainbow sprinkles

Melt the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl large enough to fit the mouth of your glasses. Heat for 25 seconds, stir, and reheat as necessary until smooth.
Place the rainbow sprinkles in a similar-size bowl or on a plate.
Dip the rim of your glasses into the candy melts until the rim is completely coated, and then dip into the sprinkles. Let dry as you prepare the frapp cocktail.
Using two smoothie-style blender containers, place the Tequila Rose, 2 scoops of ice cream and half of the ice cubes in one container, and the Hpnotiq and remaining ice cream and cubes in the second.
Blend each until the ice cubes are broken down and the mixture is smooth and frapp-like.
Spoon half of the pink frapp mixture into the bottom of the prepared glasses, then the blue-purple mixture, then alternate to create a pretty pattern.
Serve and enjoy immediately.
