My First Miscellany Monday

I’m a random kind of girl, just ask my husband, so I’ve decided to link up to my very first miscellany monday.  For those of you who don’t know what it is, it’s pure random, for your reading and viewing pleasure.

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

So here goes…

(1) My husband and I had figurines of ourselves on our wedding day made in Taiwan.  I’ll show you the pictures later, and yes, we’re THAT vain.

(2) The element pictured below was found in my backyard.  We don’t know what it is.  I think there was a meteor shower back in 1970 when our house was built and this piece just happened to land in our backyard.

(3) I eat two gummy vitamins each day because that is the suggested dosage.  One time I ate four.

(4) I’ve been looking all over for a nude pair of pumps. Because they are such a neutral color, I feel like they would match with ANYTHING, browns, blacks, whites, colors… I mean your skin matches with all of these colors right?

I’ve narrowed my search down to these two shoes…. but I have a dilemma.  The Target Mossimo Virginia Pumps (left) are only $29.99 but I can’t find them anywhere in size 7.5.  The Christian Louboutin Simple 70s Leather Pump (right) I can find in my size, but they are $595.  Here’s where you come in…. if you can find me the Target shoes in size 7.5 and are willing to ship them to me, I will pay you back and throw in a little surprise present for you.  Or if anyone can hand over $595, that would be wonderful as well.  I’m not kidding about the Target shoes.

(5) My husband has had his Toyota Corolla for 15 years.  It’s in good condition and only has approximately 100,000 miles on it.  We’re ready to sell it, I’m taking bids now, let’s start it at $25,000, hey we’ve got bills to pay too!

(6) I miss my adorable nephew Evan, A LOT.  He lives in Los Angeles, but he has some country in him as well, he must get it from me.  Pictures taken by my amazing photographer sister-in-law!

(7) In 2010, I’ve spent 105 days in Missouri, 18 days in Ohio, 8 days in Minnesota, 5 days in California, 4 days in Michigan and 4 days in Nevada.  I’m currently in Cleveland, Ohio and will be in Columbus, Ohio later this week for my brother-in-law’s wedding!  By next Monday, make that 25 days in Ohio.  Why do I keep finding myself in Ohio?  And why is there a pizza joint on every block?  Didn’t know Ohio was known for their pizza.

(8) I tend to use electronic sarcasm a lot, just so you know.

Hope you have a wonderful week, we have a holiday weekend to look forward to, yay!

That rock is cool, I’d get it to home if I’d find it in my backyard 🙂

I prefer the second ones (shoes) but I don’t think I’d pay that much for a pair of shoes! I don’t even like the nude color.

I wish I could count so many days outside my city! You’re so lucky for that. I LOVE to travel but I don’t have the chance to do it frecuently.

    Love!

The element almost looks like a big gummy 🙂
I totally agree with the notion that nude pumps would go with everything, although I can’t imagine spending that much on them! Target is on my list for this week though to get different baby sandals, so I will take a look around….

Love the random post! Your nephew is super cute! I’ve been thinking about some nude pumps lately as well, they really do match everything and if you get a tone close enough to your skin they make your legs look longer! Who doesn’t want that, right?

  17. May 24, 2010 / 1:25 pm

LOL to the gummy vitamins. You do realize the recommended dosage is for a kid right? You should be eating about 4-6 a day I believe (but check the label to make sure!) I used to eat about 6 a day… and I went through those puppies too fast.

I’ll look out for the shoes for you. I’ll be back in MI in 2 weeks! Yay for Target!

Ugh Ohio. Especially since we’re Michiganders at heart. 🙂

  18. May 24, 2010 / 1:58 pm

    Have an amazing week,
    Kate

Oh and btw. 谢谢 for leaving the wonderful comment on my blog.

  32. May 26, 2010 / 8:52 am

ha, i’ve been wondering about those gummy vitamins too actually. and…i’ve also been looking for nude pumps, but haven’t found the right ones. 1 thing: i once got patent leather pumps at target and they TORE UP my feet, no amount of dr. scholl’s padding or anything could help, so hopefully if you get them they will be more flexible 😉

  33. May 26, 2010 / 11:30 pm

Brilliant idea for a Monday! I can’t wait to see the figurines. And sometimes, I buy gummy vitamins and completely ignore the proper dosage (they’re just so good).
