Neutrals and a Pop of Blue

Perfect Shirt c/o Conversation Pieces | Skirt: Thrifted | Belt: H&M | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Purse: Gift from SIL

The last time I wore this skirt guys, I was 36.5 weeks pregnant and you all loved that outfit.  So I’m back here today to show you how I’d style it without a baby bump (ignore the still leftover baby belly chub though).  Since the cobalt blue color is bright enough on its own, I decided to wear it with a bunch of neutrals… grey, brown and black.  This is a big deal for me guys, as mixing black tones and brown tones used to always be a no-no in my book, in fact, I’d always scold my husband for mixing those in his attire until I realized the cool kids did it.  I’m kind of cheating though since my heels already contain both those colors in one.  No, the scolding isn’t always one-sided, he scolded me for already having worn this skirt in a prior outfit post, where I then told him that the more I remixed my current clothes, the less I’d buy new clothes.  😉  And then the baby started crying and scolded us both for not feeding him immediately when he was hungry…

P.S. The winner of The Sunshine Stitch giveaway is Amanda of Royal Daughter Designs!  Congrats girl!  Please send me an email at sandyalamode(at)gmail(dot)com to claim your prize!
