Hi friends! I’m obsessed with jewelry, have you noticed from all my outfit posts that I always love accessorizing with necklaces? {MEET PAM}
1) Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you decided to start up shop.
For many years working for a large marketing firm as an account manager, I had a pretty conservative weekday wardrobe. Luckily I always managed to keep my outfits interesting by adding statement necklaces to my nondescript button downs and suits.
While on maternity leave with my younger daughter, I had a sudden burst of creativity. I couldn’t relax so I spent those 4 months designing necklaces in between feedings and naps. I created a necklace that I’d wear out and about on our daily walks around my old beach town. Complete strangers approached me to comment on my necklace and wanted to know where I bought it. A boutique in town immediately ordered a few and after giving a few to family and friends, my etsy stop debuted that summer. Since then I have officially retired from the corporate world and we have relocated from California to Texas for my husband’s company. Now I am able to work from home on my own schedule and raise my two girls, ages 5 and 2 in a creative environment.
2) What things are you looking forward to doing this summer?
Visiting with family on the east coast, hanging out poolside, trip to the beach {fingers crossed}, movies on the lawn, trip to Austin, and experimenting with homemade popsicle concoctions.
3) What are some of your favorite color combinations?
Turquoise has always been a favorite of mine and I’m loving coral these days. Mixed together it’s the perfect combination and reminds me of the beach.
4) What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
I’m a simple girl when it comes to ice cream. Soft serve vanilla from dairy queen is my flavor.
