Madewell KC Blogger Event!

Just wanted to do a quick picture recap of the Madewell Kansas City Blogger Meetup that we had recently! I had so much fun at this event hanging out w/ my bloggy friends and meeting new ones as well. But the best part, was the trying on clothes and shopping of course! 🙂

I chose to wear a dressy yet casual outfit because I knew I wanted to be comfortable.  I tucked in the front of my hi lo blouse into my shorts and gave it some shape with a belt.  Then topped it off with some subtle pattern mixing with polka dot flats!  Here’s the rundown.

Top: Nasty Gal | Shorts: LOFT {similar} | Shoes: Madewell | Bracelets: eNVe Designs, Oia Jules, The Shine Project, JEWELIQ

I am so in love with all of the store’s decor.  There were so many cool vintage details and so much color.

And there was even a braid bar for all of us to get our hair braided.  Which is your favorite type of braid?

And some of us even got a chance to style up a mannequin!  This is my first time doing so and I had so much fun!  Mine’s the second from the left – I decided to go with a preppy kind of look that would be suitable for work, date night, or a girl’s night out.  And of course I had to pattern mix w/ the arrow cardigan and striped skirt!

Here’s the Madewell team in KC!  They were all so nice, fun, a blast to shop with.

And of course we couldn’t have left the store empty handed… 🙂

Thanks so much to Nicole Clifford Photography for capturing all of these beautiful pictures (including my outfit pics as well).  If you’d like to see more photos of the event… click here!  If y’all are in need of a photographer in KC, I highly recommend her.  She’s a sweetheart and so great to work with!

Have you shopped at Madewell before?

If not, you should. 🙂

Oh! How I wish I shopped at a Madewell before. I’m hesistant to buy online, since I’m not sure how their sizing runs, and I hate returns. LOL. I’m just lazy.

Looked like a fun event, Sandy. And of course you looked adorbs.
