Closet Copy Cat Challenge – Sequins

Blouse: Nordstrom Rack | Sequined Sweater: J. Crew | Pants: Lee Jeans | Shoes: Chromatic Gallerie | Earrings c/o Mimi Boutique | Bag: Jason Wu for Target

Hello Copy Cat Closet challengers (and anyone else who wants to join in)!

Today is the day that we are sharing our SEQUINED outfits!  When I first saw this polka dot sequin sweater in stores, I swear it was calling my name and telling me how perfect it would be to wear for the holidays.  I love to wear it with a button down underneath (I’ve already worn it twice, each time with a different button down color), jeans, and fun colored pumps.  I think this look works for the office, date night, or a holiday party!  Sequins just add that extra bit of glam to spice up an outfit.

Check out the post on Ma Nouvelle Mode to see how I styled sequins in the past and a few inspiration outfits from celebrities and other fashion bloggers.  And link up your outfit with sequins below (or just any outfit with sparkle… or any outfit if you want!)  🙂  And then have fun blog hopping!!

I recently purchased this same top in the cream color. I’m definitely going to keep this outfit as inspiration for ways to wear my top!

You know, I saw this week’s challenge was sequins, and I thought about my wardrobe and realized… I can’t think of one thing I own that has sequins. It’s one of those things I think other people pull off and looks great on them (yourself included!!), but I just don’t like to wear. My sparkles are usually metallic fabric/threads or beading.

I love the pops of royal purple you paired this with!
