Sandy a la Mode | Fashion Blogger 4 Ways To Style The Henkaa Sakura Convertible Dress

I am so happy to share with you my second series talking about Henkaa Convertible Dresses. You can see my first post here.  Last time I styled up a maxi dress with sleeves 4 different ways. This time I decided to style up the Sakura Blush Pink Midi Convertible Dress in 4 ways!  This dress is just perfect for summer, yet I show a way to style it for colder weather too. I just can’t get over the fact that this one dress can literally be styled up so many different ways. It’s really the best bridesmaid or travel dress!

1. Halter Dress

The first way I decided to style this dress is a halter dress.  It was pretty plain and simple as you just tie the long straps around your neck and the rest of the ties around your waist.  I think this look is great to wear for a wedding as a guest. I paired it with some stripe heels and a pretty floral bag to give it a little pattern mixing flair.

2. One Shoulder Dress

The second way I styled this dress was a one shoulder dress.  I decided to wear a crisp white jacket over it and paired it with neutral accessories.  I love how you can just change up a look by adding a jacket and it’s perfect for cooler temps. I have to say, this might be my favorite look.

 3. Over The Shoulder Top with Maxi Overlay

This look is probably the most unique as it treats the whole Sakura dress as a top as I layered a Hana Charcoal Grey Maxi Chiffon Overlay as a skirt.  These overlays are sold by Henkaa and are sheer in nature.  They are great as skirts over dresses to create the look I am showing you here or they could be worn as a strapless dress itself over shapewear (they are a bit see through on their own). Isn’t it so fun to add this little overlay to really mix up the look?

4. Twisty Neck Sweetheart Dress

This last look was probably the most complicated look to create, but it was fun trying to do it!  I basically twisted the straps above my chest tied it around the back and brought the pieces forward to create a sweetheart bust line.  Yea, say that 10 times fast, HA!  I thought this style could be fun for going out with your girl friends or on a date with your man!  I added some black shoes and mint bag with black detail for a bit of an edgier look paired with this feminine dress.
