I mentioned it in my Instagram last week, but I think I will be posting at least one business appropriate, usually a business casual outfit on the blog each week, to inspire those who have a 9 to 5 job (or 8 to 5 in my case) that business clothes don’t have to be stiff and boring, but they can be super cute and stylish too! 🙂 One of the simplest ways for me to get dressed for work in the morning, is to wear a floral dress. I have a TON of floral in my closet because it’s one of my favorite patterns ever. With a floral dress, I keep everything else pretty simple and just wear a gold/clear necklace, black heels, black bag and black sunnies. Being a busy working mama, I really don’t have all that time to get ready in the mornings along with getting 2 kids ready for daycare. So again, easy to throw together outfits are KEY!

Whenever I go to work, I feel like I’m a bag lady. I have my work laptop, regular bag, lunch bag and I used to have my pumping bag with me too! It felt like I was moving every morning and afternoon. :/ Nowadays, I have tried to cut it down to just bringing my laptop bag and actually just using that as my “regular bag” as well. And then of course we always try and bring our own lunches to work, although I do end up going out to eat at least once a week.

So I really do want to get to know you, my readers better. What do you usually wear for work?  What is your dress code? Business casual? Professional? Is there any type of work outfits you want me to show (and how to make it stylish)?
