Dot Dot Smile Dress on toddler

Between you and me, Vivian and I own a lot of clothes. Haha, well that’s not really a secret, it’s kind of obvious if you are a reader of my blog. :/ But more and more, I absolutely LOVE wearing coordinating or matchy matchy clothes with my mini me. In this look I am featuring a LulaRoe Julia dress while Vivian can finally fit into Dot Dot Smile dresses (woohoo)! To me, dresses are seriously the best piece of clothing on Earth and I wish we could both wear them every day. For Spring, I’ve rounded up 5 great Spring fashion trends both you AND Your mini me should wear. Because honestly, anything in mini size, is probably 100 times more adorable!

1. Florals – I don’t know, I feel like this is a no brainer. Florals look great on EVERY woman, young or old! And it’s the perfect pattern to wear to welcome the blossoming flowers outside as well!

2. Classics (like Black and White) with a pop of color – I know tons of people like to stick to neutrals in the winter, and depending on wear you live, Spring is usually still pretty chilly which means you aren’t putting away your winter clothes just yet. However, a great way to make those pieces more Spring, is to add a pop of bright color (pretty much like how Vivian dressed here).

3. Lace, Crochet, Fringe – I am obsessed with all of these delicate materials and since they tend to have holes in them or aren’t solid materials, it makes more sense to wear them as the weather is warming up. Lace kimonos with fringe details are my very favorite.

4. Gingham – This print reminds me of an outdoor picnic, and you can bet that I’ve already started stocking up both Vivian and my wardrobe with this print. I warned you.

5. Chambray – While I do think that chambray can be worn all year round, I do think that chambray dresses or tunics with leggings are so cute for Spring! You can keep them long sleeved too because I think that’s perfect for this transitional weather.

Washing your clothes with Tide Pods

Sometimes we all go through multiple outfit changes a day (my kids make a serious mess at daycare) which means a ton of laundry on the weekends. Especially with some of those Spring trends I mentioned above, it’s especially important to take care of the fabrics so they don’t get warped (ours are cotton). I recently discovered TIDE PODS® and what I love about them is that they are easy to pop into the washing machine before you put in your clothes, smell good and make your washed clothes look as good as new!
