The comeback of KangaROOS!

Anyone who is reading this remember KangaROOS from back in the day!? You know, the shoes that have a zippered pocket so you can put keys or coins or money in there or whatever? Yes, KangaROOS are making a comeback and they are being sold at Payless! One of my favorite things to do on weeknight evenings with the kids, is to take them on a walk on a local horse trail. They love searching for horses, I love that we are getting a family work out in, and it’s just great to unplug and take in the beautiful Utah scenery. Especially since the weather has been pretty perfect right now (like not blazing 100 degrees), it’s really the perfect little family activity. On our latest trip, me and my kids wore our KangaROOS for our walk and even my picky about shoes son, was happy to wear them. We let him be the “key holder” in his shoe pocket, which is an extremely important job and he loved it. Vivian loved playing with the velcro on her shoes and I can tell that these will totally be new shoes that they will be wearing lots for daycare, they are great back to school shoes!
