Cubicle Chic – Polka Dots and Lace

polka dots scream summer to me. and so do skirts with pockets. i actually wore this skirt for the first time a year ago in ohio and after that trip i had left it there at my in-laws house. and when we went back to ohio a few months ago, i discovered it again in the closet and brought it home with me. it’s kind of sad that i have so many clothes that sometimes i forget about a thing or two that i should have in my closet. 
but luckily, it’s happily back in my possession.
i love the mix of polka dots on the skirt, the lace on the tank and shoes, and ruffles on the cardigan and how the designs play so well together. i can see myself frolicking in the field or strawberry picking in this outfit (if the rain would just let up or if it would stop being so stinking humid out). oh yes, and i can’t forget about my fabulous oh, sweetlee me necklace that’s made up of me and marv’s initials and a pretty pearl. i can’t stop wearing it.
