With the Olympics being a hot topic for the last few weeks, well I have to be honest, we haven’t watched much of it on TV. I honestly get all the highlights on Facebook as I’ve just been way too busy to watch real time! As a family, we’ve really been soaking up the Summer by letting our kids stay up late and indulging on snacks and desserts more often than normal. The other night we had some company over to play some games, play on our new Jumparoo and have some fun. There were a lot of smaller kids (all 4 and under) and I have to say that Austin felt pretty proud to be the oldest kid there. Currently one of Austin’s very favorite games is “War” and he’ll sometimes forget which number is bigger when he loses, but I’ll just have to gently remind him. 😉 Vivian can’t quite read numbers yet or tell which one is bigger than the other, but just repeating numbers around her, helps her learn. We’ve been loving hanging out in our new outdoor patio set from Walker Edison Furniture with pillows from Mae Woven. But of course, any gathering at our house has to always be packed with good food, drinks and snacks!
For the night, I served an assortment of CVS Gold Emblem and Gold Emblem abound snacks for guests. There was a mix of nuts, popcorn and puffs and the kids really went at it. Specifically there was Berries & Nut Clusters, Pistachio & Almond Blend, Jalapeno Cheddar Quinoa Puffs, BBQ Potato Fries, Blueberry Lemon Almond Crunch and Heavenly Light Popcorn.
And because we were inspired by the Olympics, we decided to rate the snacks with medals. Drum roll please…
Bronze – Gold Emblem abound Berries & Nut Clusters
Silver – Gold Emblem abound Heavenly Light Popcorn
Gold – Gold Emblem abound BBQ Potato Fries
This was how the kids rated the snacks, but I actually really loved the Gold Emblem abound Blueberry Lemon Almond Crunch the best!

The zombie apocalypse is one of my most favorite themes in both movies and in video games. I mean, is there anyone here who is not interested in zombies? Well, I know that it seems a little bit cliche, but they are still far more interesting that just violence. I am such a huge zombie fan that I already have a plan once an apocalypse breaks loose. I even own a barn that is filled with weapons and other stuff.Nintendo Switch Accessories
I believe that cooking is more creative activity than playing uno. The best is to read a book to your kids before going to sleep. athlisi kai ygeia
