Happy Fall Y’all!

Ok, so I’m not really from the south and don’t say y’all but just saying that phrase puts a smile on my face.

I’m so excited to guest posting for Sandy. I love checking in on Sandy a la Mode and seeing what amazing outfits she puts together. Her outfits constantly inspire my style.

I love going to blogs for outfit and fashion inspiration. A few of my favorite fashion bloggers include Sandy {of course}, Lindsey from Ruby Girl and Andrea from for the love of.  Sandy, Lindsey and Andrea always make their outfits look so flawless and perfect.

Today I am sharing with all of you one of my new favorite outfits for Fall.

We just moved to Virginia from California and I am about to experience my first Fall in well over 15 years! I am so excited to finally be able to layer pieces and not be sweating come noon.

This summer I finally found a chambray shirt I liked and while it was fun to pair it with shorts and skirts I was waiting to be able to layer it under this gold flecked sweater.  I really like how the contrast of the sturdy denim and the delicate scalloped edge of the sweater work together.

sweater: gap // chambray shirt: forever21 // polka dot skinnies: ross {target has a similar style} // leopard wellies: target

These polka dot pants make my heart happy. The dots are pretty small so they are not crazy noticeable and don’t overpower you, therefore I felt like I could add a bit of bold fun with the leopard print wellies. The perfect pop of fun on a dreary rainy day.

I recently bought this bright yellow necklace from Caroline g. and want to wear it EVERY.SINGLE.DAY.  It is so bright and happy. I thought since the rest of my outfit was pretty neutral a pop of neon was totally needed.

This outfit was perfect for a cool, Fall, rainy day. I was comfortable, warm and felt chic and put together.
